Nice! Lionel Freight Set # 2201WS, 665, 6026W, 6464-50, OB +

This is a very nice original Lionel "O" gauge postwar set - No. 2201WS from 1954. This set includes the No. 665 die-cast Steam Engine with smoke, headlight and magnetraction, with its matching No. 6026W Whistle Tender, the No. 6464-50 M&SL Box Car, the No. 6465 Sunoco two-dome Tank Car, the No. 6462 Gondola and the No. 6357-25 SP-Type Caboose. The set also includes all the individual boxes, paperwork, billboards a USC and the Set Box. Offering all that is pictured in the many photographs.

I would call the condition of the trains excellent and better - as seen in the pictures. The engine ran well in forward and reverse when tested. I see some edge wear, and a small touch-up on the cab roof. Whistle tender looks great, and works fine. The 6464-50 has some paint flaking on the shell, the rest of the freights are excellent. Clean. The boxes overall in very good condition. Some have some tape as reinforment. Both Engine and tender boxes have their original inserts. The engine box has one interior flap that is replaced.  The USC has brittle wires. The set box is shows some edge wear and is reinforced up one corner. Nice and square. You won't be disappointed in this one. Buy with confidence. Thanks.
