Lionel Postwar Set No. 1611 "The Alaskan" Set 614 6825 6464 ++

Here is an extremely nice Set of Lionel "O27" gauge postwar trains called "The Alaskan" Freight Set. Catalogued in 1959, this set features the 614 Alaska NW-2 diesel switcher, the No. 6825 Flatcar with Trestle, the No. 6465 Black two-dome Tank Car, the No. 6162-60 Alaska Gondola with red Canisters, and the No. 6027 Alaska SP-type Caboose. It includes the original Set Box, track, lock-on and transformer - all that is pictured. This is trains in the the set are in like new condition, the Set box has some tape residue and a few tears. Condition notes: The engine has the typical factory hairline crack from the front screw. Hardly noticeable. Train runs fine. The tank car looks brand new.  An extremely nice set, and one that is hard to find in this condition - don't miss. And please ask questions before bidding.
