Lionel Postwar Set w/2328 Engine 2442 2442 2444 2446 RED STRIPE

Here is a neat set of Lionel postwar "O" gauge trains - componets of passenger Set No.1562W made in 1956. This Set includes the No. 2328 Burlington GP Diesel with magnetraction and horn + original BOX, the No. 2444 Red-Stripe Newark Pullman, one No. 2442 Red-Stripe Clifton Vista Dome with BOX, another 2442, and a No. 2446 Red-Stripe Summit Observation Car with BOX. One of the better 027 postwar Passenger Sets from Lionel. This one is in solid excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. The engine runs well in forward and reverse, and lights up. All the passenger cars light up, making this a great set to run. The engine shows some wear on the cab roof, but is solid throughout. Original frame and paint. The 2442 with Box is in excellent plus condition. Beautiful roof and sides. Low run time. Box has some tape on flaps and shows wear. The other 2442 has a roof that shows wear. Sides are clean. The 2444 Newark and the Observation are also in excellent plus condition. Beautiful silver. The Observation box shows staining, and has tape through-out. Overall a very nice set - not to be missed.
