Nice - Lionel Postwar Military Set No. 11298 w/ 2037 233 3330 3419 6544 ++OBHere is a wonderful Lionel postwar O Gauge Military Freight Set from 1962 - Set No. 11298 called the " Vigilant" Seven Unit Steam Freight Set. Set includes the No. 2037 steam locomotive with its matching No. 233W tender, the No. 3419 operating NAVY helicopter car, A No. 6448 exploding boxcar, The hard-to-find No. 3330 flat car with operating submarine kit, A No. 6544 missile firing trail car with white console, and a No. 6017 caboose. Comes with all individual boxes, paperwork, packet, 6029 uncoupling section, No. 1063 75 watt transformer, CTC, and paperwork. All that is pictured. Overall a nice clean set. The Engine is beautiful with a nice original box. Tested and ran in forward and reverse. Smoke unit works. Tender has an area of roughness on one side, from what looks like tape. Whistled when tested. Tender box has some tape on one end. All flaps. The 3419 helicopter car is in excellent condition. Original copter, with no breaks to the tail. Box is brick-like. The exploding boxcar is excellent. Box is missing internal flaps and has some tape repair. The 3330 Submarine car is excellent. Components still sealed in plastic packet. Box has been repaired on the perf., and tape on the flaps. Writing on one end. The 6544 car is missing its missiles, and has one repaired brake wheel. Box is really nice with no repairs. Caboose is like new. Box has some tears and repairs. Great amount of paperwork as pictured. Set box has some skinning and tape and residue.
