Lionel Set No. 1611 "The Alaskan" Set 614 6825 6464 ++

Here is an extremely nice Set of Lionel "O27" gauge postwar trains called "The Alaskan" Freight Set. Catalogued in 1959, this set features the 614 Alaska NW-2 diesel switcher, the No. 6825 Flatcar with Trestle, the No. 6465 Black two-dome Tank Car, the No. 6162-60 Alaska Gondola with red Canisters, and the No. 6027 Alaska SP-type Caboose. It includes the original Set Box, track, lock-on and transformer - all that is pictured. This is set is in beautiful like new condition. Condition notes: The engine has the typical factory hairline crack from the front screw. Hardly noticeable. The caboose has a scratch on its roof as pictured. Train runs fine. The tank car looks brand new. Set box has a tear on the insert, but overall is really very nice. An extremely nice set, and one that is hard to find in this condition - don't miss.
