Nice! Lionel Postwar Set No. 1583WS w/ 2037 6026W 6121++

Here is a very nice Lionel Set No. 1583WS from 1957. This "O27" gauge train features the No. 2037 2-6-4 steam locomotive with operating headlight, smoke and Magnatraction, with its matching No. 6026W whistle tender. It includes the following freights, all with the new for 1957 AAR Trucks - the No. 6121 Flatcar with Pipes, the No. 6112 Gondola with (4) cannisters, and the No. 6476 black Lehigh Valley Hopper. This set features (2) really hard to get freights - the No. 6646 orange with black lettering Stock Car, and the No. 6482 Refrigerator car. Lastly the freights are followed by the No. 6017 SP-type Caboose. The Set comes with a lot of the original components. We have a No. 6029 uncoupling section, operating instructions for the 2037 steam engine. The original packet. Also, the set contains (8) pieces of curved track, (3) pieces of straight. It is in excellent condition. The engine ran in forward and reverse when tested. Tender whistled loudly.  The engine and tender boxes are complete. Tender box has some bends. The freights correctly did not come with boxes. - but this includes a nice box for the 6112. Set box is in good condition with some wear. This is one not to be missed!
