Lionel Set No. 2209W 2254 NY Central ABA +Freights BOXE

Here is a neat set of Lionel postwar "O" gauge trains. This is set No. 2209W - the New York Central Freight Set made in 1953. This Set includes the No. 2354P, the No. 2354T, and the No. 2344C New York Central F-3 ABA Diesels with Dual Motors, Magnetraction and Horn, the No. 3484 Operating Pennsylvania Box Car, the No. 6462 Black New York Central Gondola with barrels, the No. 6415 Sunoco Three Dome Tank Car, and the No. 6417 Pennsylvania N5C Caboose. Included are all the individual boxes, the USC and box, and the original SET BOX. Overall, I would have to grade this this as very good and better - as seen in the pictures. All the trains are very clean, with very minor signs of use and handling. The engine runs in forward and reverse. The powered unit is cosmetically very nice with good strong graphics. The non-powered unit has some battery corrision and a fading along the bottom of the shell on one side. The "B" unit looks very nice, with just a couple surface scratches near the porthole on one side. The Powered Engine box is brick-like with original insert. The "T" and the "C" box are missing flaps, and have tape and tears.  All the freights are in great shape as seen in the pictures. Clean with low run time. The individual boxes are nice. The 3484 is stamped "Treasure House". The 6462 has a repaired tuck flap. A couple are missing coupler flaps.  The set box also shows wear. A hole on one side. Wear to creases and some repaired tears.
