This is the No. 400E 4-4-4 Standard Gauge Steam Engine with its matching Tender, all with nickel trim. These come with their original and hard to find BOXES. This is a large and impressive piece. Made between 1927-36. This is the later version. This engine and tender are in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. When tested the The Engine lights up and runs nicely in forward and reverse. It appears that the wheels have been replaced with Model Engineering wheels at some point. The Tender is also a nice one. Some minor wear to the paint as expected. Boxes are in good shape. Missing top flaps on both boxes. Engine box has its original insert. Both marked GM for Gun-Metal on sides and flaps.
