Lionel Postwar 2533W Great Northern EP5 Freight Set 2358 614 ++SET BOX

When was the last time you have seen this set! Cataloged in 1959, this is Set No. 2533W. A five-car Freight Train Set featuring the No. 2358 Great Northern EP-5 electric Engine. It includes a No. 3444 Erie animated gondola, a No. 6650 missile launching flatcar with missile, a No. 6414 Evans Auto-Loader automobile car with original correct length autos, a No. 6470 exploding target car, and a No. 6357 caboose, all invidual boxes, paperwork, billboards, accessory and 1959 Instruction booklet, 3 straight and 12 pieces of curved track, packets and the rare SET BOX. All that is pictured. Unique about this set is it was kind of a transistion set that included an earlier version of the auto-loader cars, the animated gondola, and earlier caboose with the AAR trucked exploding boxcar, and 6650 missile launching flatcar. Even a couple of the boxes - the 3444 and the 6357 -  were the late traditional boxes, mixed with the orange perf. boxes. 

WOW! Overall, the trains are in excellent and like new condition. I will detail specifics of what I see. The Engine has its original decals. one is 95% the other end is around 50%. Runs well in forward and reverse. Minor wear here and there. The Auto car has its original autos all in good shape. It's box is missing a tab. The missile lauching flatcar has its original missle. The box has some repaired tears. The 3444 box is a little rumpled on one end. The Set box was opened from the bottom, so the top is stilled sealed. The bottom has some weak corners and is a little depressed. The opned bottom has a mailing label and postage stamp. Some wear and a small tear. Overall it is nice and sturdy and in good shape.
