Original Lionel Blue Streak 265E Loco w/ 617 618 619 Passenger Cars (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a wonderful set of Lionel prewar trains - rarely seen in original condition. This is a "Blue Streak" streamliner Passenger Set that was cataloged 1936-38. The set includes the blue Commodore Vanderbilt No. 265E loco and its matching No. 265WX tender. This pulls the Lionel No. 619, 617, and 618 blue with white window striped passenger cars. The whole set is really nice as you can see in all the pictures. This has not been cleaned or polished. In 'as found' original condition. Shows some wear and scratches - but overall very nice for this set. The Engine has its original cab, however, it has a crack in the back edge. The vestibules are typically worn and these are no exception. The engine ran well when put on a test track. All cars light up when on track.
