High Grade Lionel 1947 No. 2121WS Boxed 675 Set 2555 2452X 2457Here is a sweet little Lionel early postwar "O" gauge set. From 1947 this is Lionel Set No. 2121WS. The set has the tough chrome stack No. 675 Engine with heat stamped boiler front, 2466WX whistle tender, 2452X gondola, 2555 tank car, and a 2457 caboose. Comes with all the Individual Boxes - all with Inserts - original 1947 paperwork, 8 pieces of curved track and 3 straights, an RSC, No. 167 Whistle Controller, a UTC Contents box with clips and CTC, and the Set Box. All that is pictured. Condition is outstanding as you can see from all the pictures below. A couple condition notes: the engine and tender worked when tested. Patina on the engine and tender is real nice showing very little use. Comes with a bottle of smoke pellets and tamper. The 2555 tank car is bright and shinny. Nice decals, but one has a small chip from it. The 2542x comes with (4) original barrels. Great little box with insert. The Caboose looks real nice but is missing its window inserts one side. The RCS has wires missing ends. The 167 Controller is correct with "C" after the number on the back. Most of the boxes are in great shape. The engine box has "1947" printed on one side. Has some tape residue, and missing tape on the the bottom. The Set Box also has some tape reinforcement on one flap, and some writing as pictured, but nice and sturdy.
