Lionel Postwar Freight Set # 2155WS 726 2426W 2460 Plus BOX ++

Here is a desirable set of Lionel "O" gauge trains from 1949. This is Set No. 2155WS. This Set includes the No. 726 2-8-4 Berkshire Steam Locomotive with operating headlight and smoke, along with its the No. 2426W Whistle Tender. The set has the following freights - the No. 6411 flatcar with logs, 3656 operating Cattle Car with corral, 3656-9 box of 1949 cattle with rounded bases and box, 2460 black Bucyrus Erie crane car, No. 6457 caboose, a UCS remote control track set, Instruction Sheets, other Paperwork. And many more perfirals. Also includes all individual boxes plus the rare Set Box. All that is seen in the photographs.

Overall, this set is in excellent condition - as seen in the many pictures. Some of the pieces are like new. Engine and tender show little run time. Cosmetically beautiful. The Tender is also very nice with little wear. The Engine box is not correct for this set, and is missing its lining. The Tender box is worn and missing one end flap. Replacement interior lining. The freights are all in great shape. The 3656 Set is very nice - some wear to the top of the coral and missing the screw in the back. The Box is missing an interior flap at one end. Also, some repairs and wear. The 2460 is like new. Box shows some wear, and has one interior lining. All boxes show some wear and some minor repair. The Set Box is in good shape. Repaired seam that goes along tape. Lots of paperwork that is also hard to find. A great set - that I believe is detailed in the many pictures. Please ask any questions. Buy with confidence. Thanks.
