Lionel # 2146WS Set w/ 726 Loco, 2426W, 2625, 2627 2628Here is one of my favorite "O" gauge passenger sets that Lionel made - Set No. 2146WS - from 1948. The set includes a nice all original No. 726 Berkshire 2-8-4 Locomotive with its No. 2426W Die-cast Whistle Tender. This Loco & Tender are in very good to excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Both show some wear to the high areas, but overall look good. The engine runs smoothly in forward and reverse. The tender was not getting power to the whistle, so it was not working. Also in this set are the "Madison" Heavyweight illuminated cars - the No. 2625 "Irvington", the No. 2627 "Madison" and the No. 2628 "Manhattan". The cars are in similar condition - as seen in the pictures. The cars have just minor wear. Bottoms appear to have been cleaned with some blackening wear. I took lots of pictures for you to see all, and please ask any questions. A really nice, sought after set of Lionel trains. Price: $780 SORRY! SOLD!
