Rare Lionel 225E Engine w/ 2235W Gun Metal Gray Tender & Freights Set 147WHere is an extremely nice original Lionel prewar "O" Gauge Freight Set -No. 147W. This set from 1939 features the No. 225E Steam Locomotive with the rare No. 2235W Gun Metal Gray Whistle Tender. Engine measures 10-3/8" long. The Engine pulls the following freights - the No. 3651 Lumber Car, the No. 2654 SHELL Tank Car, and the No. 2657 Caboose. The set includes an added car - the No. 3652 yellow gondola. These are in excellent condition - as seen in the many pictures. Engine has been tested and it runs in forward and reverse. The whistle in the Tender works. Both the Engine and the Tender show some wear, but overall are a nice matching pair. Tender is original with the white heat stamped lettering. freights are nice and clean.
