Lionel Boxed Train Set No. 1626W, 208 AA, 3428, 2412, 2416 +

Here is a very nice Passenger set of Lionel "027" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1626W from 1959. It was called the "Santa Fe Diesel Passenger Set". It features the No. 208 Alco Santa Fe Twin "A" Diesels in blue and gold. Also, included is the Illuminated Blue Striped - No. 2412 Vista Dome Santa Fe Passenger car, another No. 2412 Blue Striped Vista Dome Passenger car, the No. 2416 Santa Fe Blue Striped Observation car, and the No. 3428 Operating US Mail Car. Also, we have all the individual boxes, eight pieces of curved track, 5 stright pieces, 6029 uncoupling section, 1053 60-watt transformer, 1959 catalogue and the rare yellow set box.

Overall the trains are in excellent condition. The Engines show the typical decal cracks and wear, but overall very nice for these. Also, NO breaks to the front aprons. The mail car, and passenger cars are close to like new.  Engine runs when tested. The engine boxes are in very good condition. The passenger car boxes show some wear, some tape, and repairs  The set box is beautiful - nice and sturdy. Don't miss this wonderful set of trains. Thanks.
