Nice Lionel No. 1502WS 1953 Passenger Set 2055 2421 obs

Here is a very nice desirable "O27" gauge passenger set from Lionel, cataloged in 1953. This is Set No. 1502WS. This set includes the No. 2055 Steam Engine, the No. 2046W Whistle Tender, the No. 2421 Maplewood Pullman, the No. 2422 Chatham Pullman and the No. 2423 Hillside Observation Car. The passenger cars are silver with silver roofs and black lettering. A scarce set. Also includes some of the loose flaps, packets and some paperwork.

This set is in really nice overall condition - as seen in the pictures. The engine has a couple of paint nicks, but is in excellent plus condition. The tender is also very nice. The passenger cars still have that bright silver look. There are some slight marks on the roofs, and I do see finger prints on the sides.. The boxes are there but only in average condition. missing some flaps, and tape on some flaps. The set box has one corner that has been taped. Don't miss this one, and please ask any condition questions if not clear from the pictures.
