Lionel Early Postwar Set #1433 w/ 221 221T 2411 2457 ++

Here is a very nice early Lionel "O27" Postwar set No. 1433 from 1947. It features the black No. 221 2-6-4 steam locomotive with operating headlight with its matching New York Central Tender. It includes the following freights - the No. 2411 flat car with log load, the No. 2465 Sunoco Tank Car, and the No. 2472 red Pennsylvania N5 Caboose. This set includes its individual boxes with inserts, a 1019 RCS, a 1042 75 watt transformer, instruction booklet, and a wonderful looking Set Box. All that is pictured.

Overall, the set looks excellent - as shown in the photographs. The trains themselves are excellent plus to like new. The Engine ran well when tested. The decals on the tender are really nice. The tank car is bright and shinny. The boxes all have some flap issues, or tape as reinforcement. All, however, have nice original Inserts. The Engine box has two replaced end flaps and no interior flaps.  The 1019 is the rare version with a brown bakelite controller with black buttons. Transformer looks good, but has not been tested. Set box is nice and square with outstanding label. A great set from a hard to find year -don't miss this set for your collections. Thanks.
