Rare Early Ives Oversized Cast Iron Horse Drawn Fire Pumper

Here is a great looking and a hard to find horse drawn piece. This is a large OVERSIZED Ives "Phoenix" Fire Pumper Wagon. Circa. 1885. It measures a large 24-1/2" long. Horses measure 10" and are in a great trotting pose. This is one of the better looking Ives pumpers I have seen in awhile. It is in excellent original condition, and appears all there, as seen in the pictures below. Has some touch-up to wheels, and ends of yolk bar. Repainted front figure. Has the one white horse, which has some paint wear on the sides, but is excellent for a white horse from this time period. The other horse is japanned and in good shape. The Eagle on the wooden air chamber is a replacement. NO breaks or cracks to the piece. A wonderful toy - don't miss. Buy with confidence.
