Lionel Postwar Freight Set # 1529 w/ 2028, 6436, 6311, 6257 SET BOX

Here is a very nice set of Lionel trains from 1955. This is Set No. 1529 - a three car freight set you don't see very often. This Set includes the No. 2028 Pennsylvania GP-7 Locomotive, the No. 6311 Pipe Car, a No. 6436 black Lehigh Valley Hopper, and the No. 6257-75 SP Type Caboose.  Comes with a No. 1014 Transformer and Uncoupler Section. Also includes all individual boxes, plus the Set Box.

Overall, the set is very nice  - as seen in the many pictures. The engine is better than most, with good graphics and clean frame. Lights up and ran when tested. The Engine box is bright and brick-like, still sealed on one end. Some writing on the open end flap. The freights overall are also in great shape. Boxes show wear. the 6311 box is missing all flaps. The others have tape on the insides. The Set Box is browned with age, but in good shape. I took a lot of photographs for you to see all, and if something is not apparent, please let me know.
