Nice! Lionel #2537W 1959 New Haven F-3 Freight Set 2242 + 3435, 6464-275+SET BOX

Here is the No. 2537W Freight Set that Lionel made in 1959; a wonderful and hard to find F-3 set. This Set includes the No. 2242P/C New Haven F-3 AB Diesels with magnetraction and horn, a No. 3435 Aquarium Car, the No. 6464-275 State Maine Box Car, a No. 6819 Flat Car w/Helicopter, the No. 3650 Searchlight Extension Car and the No. 6427 Lionel Lines Porthole Caboose. Has three pieces of straight Super o track and )12) pieces of curved. Comes with Individual Boxes and the rare YELLOW Set Box. All that is pictured in the many pictures.

I believe the pictures are clear as to the overall condition of these trains. Overall, I would call the set excellent to like new. The engines overall are high grade - as seen in the pictures. There is one scratch in the on one side of the A unit, and a few minor scuffs on the roofs of both units. Wheels show low run-time. Engine runs in forward and reverse when tested. The Freight Cars are all very clean - in like new condition - they appear very low run time. The A-unit box is the worst of the bunch. It has skinning, tape wear along one edge, and tape residue and wear as pictured. The "B" unit box is nice. It has one internal flap that has been repaired. Some of the freight car boxes have some perf and flap repair, and some tape residue on the insides. The Set Box is nice and firm, with strong colors. Some writing as pictured. Due to the fragile nature of the boxes, this item will be shipped in two separate box, hence the higher shipping charges.  A great set - don't miss - buy with confidence. Thanks.
