Lionel Postwar #2527 Missile Launching Train Set w/ 44 6814 ++SET BOXHere is a wonderful Set of Lionel Trains - Set No. 2527 Super "O" Missile Launching Military Set that Lionel made in 1959. This Set includes the No. 44 operating US Army Missile Launcher Engine, the No. 3419 operating Helicopter Car, the No. 6823 Flat Car with Missiles, the No. 6844 Missile-Carrying Flat Car, the No. 943 Exploding Ammo Dump and the No. 6814 First Aid Rescue Caboose. This also includes all individual boxes, (12) sections of curved Super O track, one straight track, and one insulated straight track, contents of packet, some paperwork, and its original Yellow Display Set Box. All that is pictured is included. Overall condition is excellent as you can see in the pictures. The engine ran when tested. It has one missing step on one side. Includes its (4) missiles. The Box has its front perf and sleeve. Sleeve is missing its tab and has a repaired tear on a side. The freights themselves look like new. All have little if any run time on the wheels. The 3419 Helicopter is original with a complete, unbroken tail. The 6814 Caboose has its insert, man and (2) tiny stretchers and oxygen tank. Boxes are as pictured. All, except the Engine box sleeve, are missing their front perf. Some with torn and missing flaps. The display box is in great condition.
