Nice Lionel No. 2289WS 736 Super O 1957 Freight Set

Here is a very nice Lionel NO. 2289WS Freight Set made in 1957. This was the first Super O Set, and it includes the No. 736 Diecast Berkshire Steam Engine with Smoke, Headlight and Magnetraction, the No. 2046W Whistle Tender, the No. 3361X Operating Log Dump Car, the No. 6430 Flat Car with Cooper-Jarrett Trailers, the No. 3359-55 Operating Twin-Bin Dump Car, the No. 3494-275 State of Maine Operating Box Car, the No. 6427-1 Lionel Lines N5C Caboose, bottle of smoke pellets. tube of lubricant, (2) bins, and some paperwork. Individual boxes, and Set Box. Selling all what is pictured. What a great looking set! I would say it is generally in excellent to excellent plus condition. The engine and whistle tender work great. The most attractive car in the set is the No. 3494-275 Bangor and Aroostock "State of Maine" Box car and its Box. Both are almost like new. Boxes overall are in very good condition. Some of the flaps have been reinforced with tape. Set Box has some tears in the upper corners, leading to a sagging top. I believe the pictures tell the story well.
