Nice Lionel No. 2150WS 1950 Passenger Set 681 2671W ++

Here is a very nice desirable "O" gauge passenger set from Lionel, cataloged in 1950. This is Set No. 2150WS. This set includes the No. 681 Diecast Steam Turbine with headlight, smoke and magnetraction - heat stamped version, the No. 2671W Pennsylvania Whistle Tender with six wheel trucks, the No. 2421 Maplewood Pullman, the No. 2422 Chatham Pullman and the No. 2423 Hillside Observation Car. The passenger cars are silver with gray roofs and black trim. A scarce set. Includes the individual boxes (engine has insert). All you need is the Set Box to have a really nice set!

The engine is high grade. Has only a couple of minor scratches. Otherwise looks like new. It runs well, lights up and smokes. The engine box has some interior flaps missing and has its flaps reinforced with some tape. Interior lining present. The tender also looks to be in excellent condition. Whistle works! All the passenger cars are all very nice. Silver looks bright and shinny. Some finger prints, but minimal. Gray roofs somewhat dirty. Minor scratches hardly visable. The 2422 has what looks like a small melted area on the bottom, right in front of one wheel (see picture). Individual boxes of the cars are in good condition. Tape reinforcement present. Don't miss this one!
