High Grade Lionel Postwar Set No. 1583WS w/ 2037 ++

Here is one of the nicest postwar Sets of Lionel Trains I've ever owned. If your looking for quality in condition - this is it. Offering Lionel Set No. 1583WS from 1957. This "O27" gauge train features the No. 2037 2-6-4 steam locomotive with operating headlight, smoke and Magnatraction, with its matching No. 6026W whistle tender. It includes the following freights, all with the new for 1957 AAR Trucks - the No. 6121 Flatcar with Pipes, the No. 6112 Gondola with (4) cannisters, and the No. 6476 black Lehigh Valley Hopper. This set features (2) really hard to get freights - the No. 6646 orange with black lettering Stock Car, and the No. 6482 Refrigerator car. Lastly the freights are followed by the No. 6017 SP-type Caboose. The Set comes with a lot of the original components. We have a No. 6029 uncoupling section, (5) billboards, operating instructions for the 2037 steam engine. The operating manuel, and brown packet with controller and wiring, a smoke tamper, tube of lube and a lockon. Also, the set contains (8) pieces of curved track, (3) pieces of straight, and the No. 1053 60-watt Transformer. What a set! It is in like new to factory fresh condition. I do not think it has ever been run. The engine is as nice as they come. The engine and tender boxes are brick and include paper. The freights correctly did not come with boxes.
