Lionel Set # 1516WS w/ 2065 2046W 2432 2434 2436 Pass.

Here is a neat set of Lionel trains from 1954. This is set No. 1516WS - the "Skylark" O27 gauge Passenger Set. It includes the No. 2065 Diecast Steam Engine with headlight, smoke and magnetraction, the No. 2046W Whistle Tender, and the following silver with red lettering Illuminated Passenger Cars - the No. 2432 Clifton Astra Dome, the No. 2424 Newark Pullman, and the No. 2436 Summit Observation Car. This set includes all the individual boxes - but no Set Box. Condition is excellent plus, as seen in the photographs. The engine has a few paint nicks, but looks real nice. Runs in forward and reverse. It's box has some tape on its flaps. The tender is also very nice, its box is in excellent shape. All flaps present. Whistle works. The cars have the unique 1954 boxes with numbers printed on all sides. These were made a little longer than later generations. The Vista-Dome box is marked "Astra Dome" on the ends. These cars are excellent plus. I do not see any problems. Nice bright silver. Clean graphics. Boxes in great brick like shape. If you have the set box you are in good shape!
