Lionel Train Set # 729 1577S w/ 2018 1130T 6464-475 ++

Here is an extremely nice set of Lionel "027" gauge postwar trains, Set No. 729 (or 1577S) from 1957. It includes the No. 2018 2-6-4 Steam Locomotive with operating headlight and smoke. It includes its correct No. 1130T tender with the following freights - No. 6014 Frisco Box Car, the No. 6464-475 Boston and Maine Box Car, the No. 6111 Flatcar with logs, the No. 6121 Flatcar with pipes, the No. 6112 Gondola with (4) red cannisters - and the No. 6017 SP-type Caboose. Additionally, we have the correct individual boxes for the 6464-475 and the 2018 (everything else was correctly stored inside the set box without boxes), as well as some paper, lockon, smoke pellet bottle, (5) pieces of curved track, tube of lubricant, etc. Everything that is pictured.

Overall, this set is in fantastic shape. Looks like it has had very little run time, if at all. The engine is beautiful - smokes and runs fine. The freights are mostly like new, except the 6464-475 which shows some fading from display. The flat cars have their original loads. The engine box is excellent, the 6464-475 box has some writing on one side. The set box looks great. A nice set of trains, not to be missed. Please ask any questions.
