Lionel #253 Electric Loco w/ 610 610 612 Terra-CottaWhat a neat set of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains! Here is a Lionel No. 253 Terra-cotta Electric Locomotive with maroon frame and cream windows - pulling (3) terra-cotta/maroon 610, 610, 612 passenger cars. Rarely seen, this makes a great uncataloged set of trains. These are in very good condition, and I believe the pictures tell the story. The engine was put on a test track, and currently it did not run (?). I haven't taken it apart, but I would guess a wire has slipped off. Wheels turn freely. Original paint, showing some scratches. The cars all look very nice. My guess, is that the wheels and roof screws have been replaced at some time. They look too shinny. Please ask any questions. A nice set of rare Lionel trains.
