Early Marklin Prewar German "O" Scale Passenger Train !

Here is a fantastic looking Marklin "O" gauge tin lithographed train set with catalog. Not sure of the set number, but it includes the Marklin Steam engine marked No. 12920 with its Tender marked R 929/0. Also included is the 17550 Mail Car, (2) fantastic looking passenger cars that open from the roof - the 17520 "Mitropa Dining car, and the 17580 "Rheingold". It is followed by the 17940 "Seefische" Car. I don't know a lot about these trains, but I will give you some details as to what I see. Overall these are in good condition - as seen in the pictures. The Engine has some chips in the paint, and has a bent cab roof. The Mitropa has a neat interior, it is missing a set of wheels, and I'm not sure if another set of wheels is a replacement or the originals.The tender also looks to have a set of replacement wheels. This is a great item for the Marklin collector - don't miss.
