Kyser & Rex Cast Iron Lion & Monkeys Mechanical Bank

Here is a great early cast iron mechanical bank from Kyser and Rex patented 7/17/1883. It is called the "Lion & Monkeys" mechanical bank. Size is 9-1/4" high and 10" in length. The coin is placed in the monkey's hand - by moving the handle at the base it causes the monkey to throw the coin into the Lions open mouth. Condition on this piece is very nice, as seen in the pictures. No breaks or cracks. I do not have the key to the trap. Replaced small monkey - like most of the Lion & Monkey banks.
