Lionel Postwar Set No 1464W Union Pacific 2023 Diesels

Here is a very nice Lionel postwar set - No. 1464 W, which features the No. 2023 gray top twin AA diesel engines. Included are the silver with gray top lighted passenger cars - No. 2421 Maplewood - the No. 2422 Chatham, and the No. 2423 Hillside Observation car. This 1951 set features Magna-traction with silhouetted passengers in the cars. Condition is very good - as seen in the pictures. Condition notes: The powered engine lights up and runs smoothly. The black stripes have been enhanced with pin striping tape. I see a couple touch-ups to silver. Original decals about 97%. Battery compartment free of corrosion. Non-powered unit similar in appearance. The passenger cars have no breaks or cracks that I see, and the black on these may have been touched up (?). A great looking runner! Selling the set together.
