Lionel Train Set No. 1479WS, 2056, 2046W, 6462, 6457 +

Here is a nice set of Lionel "027" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1479WS from 1952. This is a complete set - It includes the No. 2056 4-6-4 steam locomotive, with its 2046W "Lionel Lines" streamlined whistle tender. Also, included are the following freights - No. 6462 'NYC' Gondola car, the No. 6465 "Sunoco" Tank car, the No. 6456 maroon Lehigh Valley Hopper, and the No. 6257 SP-Type caboose. Additionally, we have the barrels for the gondola, eight pieces of curved track, and three pieces of straight track, the No. 1033 90-watt transformer, the No. 6019 remote control track set, a CTC Lockon, a bottle of SP smoke pellets, a used tube of lubricant, the Instruction Booklet, some other paper - all individual boxes and the SET BOX.

Condition is clear in the pictures - which is excellent. The 2056 loco lights up, runs, and smokes. The tender also looks excellent - whistle works. The freights all look nice - I don't see any problems. Some minor scratches on the hopper car, and one corner of the caboose roof is turned down, but no break. Individual boxes are good. Some missing flaps. Set box has some tape showing, but overall very nice. A very nice set for the holidays. Don't miss!
