Marx Prewar NYC 4-6-2 Electric Steam Engine Passenger Set LN/OBHere is a wonderful early Marx 'O" gauge electric Train Set. This includes a die-cast 4-6-2 early 1920s Steam Engine with its matching die-cast tender. It includes a set of three metal lighted New York Central passenger cars. It is in its Set Box with transfomer, track, and paperwork. Appears complete - and in like new condition. I'm not sure whether this was ever used. A see a box mark on the top cab roof of the engine and some paint missing, from the factory on one side, and a couple of minor scratches on the cars. But that's about all. I believe the pictures tell the story. The transformer still has its cord rolled. I put the train on a test track and it runs in forward and reverse and lights up, but should have a good cleaning to run perfectly.
