J & E Stevens Cast Iron William Tell Mechanical Bank

This is the J & E Stevens, designed by Russell Frisbie, William Tell mechanical bank. Patented in 1896. Place a coin on the barrel of the rifle. Press the foot and the coin shoots the apple from the boys head. The bank measures 10-1/2" long by 6-1/2" high. It is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs. Nice overall paint. A good example. Don't miss this one.
