Lionel Set No. 2148 WS w/ 773, 2625, 2627, 2628 Madison Passenger Cars

Here is one of my favorite sets from 1950. This is Lionel "O" gauge Set No. 2148 WS. It includes the No. 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive with its No. 2426W Whistle Tender. Also, the (3) Madison Passenger Cars - the No. 2625 "Irvington", the No. 2627 "Madison" and the No. 2628 "Manhattan" lighted Pullman cars with silhouetted passengers. Condition notes: Overall this is a nice set as you can see from the pictures. Both the engine, tender and cars were all tested and work well. The engine ran in forward and reverse, the tender whistled, and all the car were illuminated. The engine has a repair to the back right cab roof. You can see from the pictures below. The tender is outstanding and grades high. The cars have some scratches, but overall look very good in condition. Boxes are reproductions. Please check all the pictures carefully, and ask any questions. A neat set of trains, for the ultimate collector.
