Nice Lionel 6464-650 Rio Grande Boxcar - LN

Made only in 1957, 1958, and 1966, Here is the earlier version of the Lionel 6464-650 Rio Grade Boxcar. It is in like new condition - as seen in the pictures. One of Postwar Lionel's most beautiful paint schemes. This is the Type IIb body version "BLT 6-57/BY LIONEL" with an unpainted yellow body with silver painted roof and lower band with black heat-stamped lettering. A black heat-stamped stripe separates the yellow from the silver. The car is actually numbered "6464650" "D & R G W" on the left and "Rio Grande" on the right. A brakewheel and bar-end trucks round out the features of this nice 1957,58 boxcar. The car is very clean and showing only very minor signs of being handled. The colors are bright and clean. The wheels and trucks show very little runtime. Don't miss this one!
