Cast Iron GE Monitor Top Refrigerator Match Holder RARE

Here is a wonderful piece. This is a rare GE Refrigerator Match Holder. It is a large size measuring 8 1/2" tall x 3 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches deep. GE had a lot of products that went along with the Monitor Refrigerator. There was a number of cast iron banks, Hubley furniture toys, a telechron clock in the shape of the monitor top, there was the water bottle, and there were even salt and pepper shakers. This was the kind of advertisement that GE used to market the monitor top. This is a cast iron match holder. The top removes to hold the matches and the top has a slot for the striker. This has its original paint. There is some internal rust but the only real flaw is the tiny casting crack along one of the edges. This is the only one that I have ever seen. Don't miss.
