Lionel No. 2526W 1958 Santa Fe Passenger Set w/ 2383 & 2530 2531 2532 BOX- Nice!

This week I am going to list some special trains - make sure you check my listings each day. Here is a wonderful Lionel postwar O gauge train set - the No. 2526W Santa Fe Super Chief Passenger Set. This was Lionel's top of the line passenger set of 1958. This Set includes the No. 2383 Santa Fe F-3 AA Diesels with Dual Motors, Horn and Magnetraction, the No. 2530 Baggage Car, and the flat-channeled No. 2531 Silver Dawn Observation Car, and two flat-channel No. 2532 Silver Range Vista Domes.

Overall, this is an excellent or better conditioned set of trains. The engines overall look very nice - as seen in the pictures (please make sure you click the link above to see all the pictures before bidding). Bright silver and red. Some minor wear on the high areas as shown. Thinness to the paint on a couple of sides, which I have seen before on these engines. Clean battery compartment. Wheels show little run time. Full decals with some minor cracks. Runs well. The passenger cars are also all excellent. I do see some minor wear on the roofs, a couple of spots, and a few scratches in the aluminum. The bottoms and wheels are very clean. The boxes are correct for the trains - which is VERY hard to find. The rarest being the 2530. Unfortunately, it is torn and missing flaps on both ends. Some of the other boxes are missing end flaps, and I'm missing the 2383 power unit box. Set box is really nice with just some minor repairs to the top corners which had small tears. If you looking for a great set in postwar, this is it! A highly desirable set of Lionel trains. Thanks.
