Lionel Train Set No. 2163WS, 736, 2671WX, 6472 +Set BoxHere is a nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 2163WS from 1950. It includes the No. 736 "O" Berkshire 2-8-4 steam locomotive, with its 2671WX "Lionel Lines" whistle tender. Also, included are the freights - No. 6555 Sunoco tank car, the No. 6462 Red gondola car with barrels, the No. 6472 Refrigerator Car, the UCS and box, and the No. 6457 Tuscan caboose. Additionally, we have the Set Box and all individual boxes. Condition is as seen in the pictures - which is excellent. The 736 loco is cosmetically very nice, showing little wear. We put it on a track and it runs in forward and reverse and smokes. The tender looks very good, with some wear to the high areas - whistle works well. The freights are also in nice condition - as pictured below. The refrigerator car looks like it has very little if any run time. The Sunoco tank car is missing a section of decal on one side. The Caboose has a couple of spots on the roof. I see no breaks or cracks to any of the cars. The Engine BOX is the 1950s version - dated on the side. Has its interior lining. The Tender box has been reinforced with tape. The gondola box is missing a flap as is the Caboose box. The set box is in very good condition. The UCS wires are getting brittle.
