High Grade Lionel #97 Operating Coal Elevator 1946 w/ BoxHere is a wonderful Lionel No. 97 Operating Coal Elevator that was cataloged from 1938 to 1942, and again from 1946 to 1950. This is the 1946 version, as it has the early rainbow bakelite coal tray, and bin, and the instruction sheet is marked '46 (see pics). This unit overall is almost like new - as seen in the pictures. Comes with its original box, and I believe all the correct Inserts. Has the controller, bag of coal, 160 Bin, and Instruction sheet. The metal parts are rust free and corrosion-free.
