Lionel Prewar Set No. 191W, 226E 2226W, 2815 2816 2817Here is a fantastic late prewar Lionel Freight Train Set No. 191W. It features the No. 226E 2-6-4 steam locomotive, with its 2226W Whistle Tender. It includes the (3) freight cars with box couplers - the No. 2815 Sunoco Tank Car - the No. 2816 red Hopper - and the No. 2817 red over red Caboose. All with nickel plates and journals. Sorry no boxes. The engine and tender are really nice, with no cosmetic problems that I see. The engine lights up and hums, but will need to be cleaned to run. Whistle works on the tender. Both would grade high in appearance. The freights are all original and as pictured. Some with minor scratches, but all in all, very nice!. I took a lot of pictures for you to see all (click here).
