My goal is to bring you the highest quality toys, banks, fine art, Americana and other antiquities from the 19th and early 20th centuries — from some of the top collections in the world. All of our items are GUARANTEED to be original antiques, as described. You will not see reproductions, or fakes here. Many of the items are represented by the top collectors in their fields of expertise.
This site is for people who want the best, investment quality antiques. My mission is to gain your trust. I will take the initiative to describe and display items correctly — I will stand behind them for quality and authenticity — and they will not be bundled in with reproductions or other misrepresented items.
The name DAKOTApaul came about from my previous company — Dakota Design, an advertising, marketing & internet development company. Although, many picture me as a mid-western, with a cowboy hat — I’m actually from the Philadelphia area where I’ve spent most of my life. I am married with three children (three teenagers!), and have a passion for collecting antiques. This began over 15 years ago, and has grown ever since. I am currently a member of SBCCA (Still Bank Collectors Club of America) and TCA (Train Collectors Association).

Hello Paul
You have a neat Web Site and appreciate your transparency. Im a retired Aero- Space engineer from Honeywell and have operating Lionel trains in a converted double garage. Florida has few basements, so some years ago the 41 buick and 52 Caddy got sold and was able to finish the room for a L/O. My wife was agreeable since it cut down the hobbies 50% and the end of 300 Hrs every year setting up trains during Christmas. I have some train sets I would like to sell/ consinement, as well as procuring additions to our collection. Have an E-Bay account with 100% feedback as well for buying only.

Nice to see someone honest and appreciate your bio. Have a teenager of my own. Looking to eventually reacquire Lionel items sold by my father in the early 70’s due to health and money issues before he passed away at 47. My brothers and I were too young to work. He had collected a decent amount, but it had to be done even though we loved the trains as much as he did. It looks like you will have the quality of pieces I’d like to get over time.
